Magento Datatrans Payment Extension

With this module, payments made via the gateway of Datatrans can be integrated into your Magento shop. The module contains the files of Magento 1 as well as Magento 2. All sellxed modules are also PSD2 compliant and support the Strong Customer authentication and 3DS 2.0. requirements.

This payment module provides a practical interface between your Magento shop and Datatrans. You get a license unlimited in time plus 12 months access to updates and upgrades with included support by e-mail and telephone. The modules are explicitly recommended for usage by our official software partner Datatrans.

Product Description

The extension contains the necessary files for Magento v. 1.x and v. 2.x Magento Community and Enterprise Edition. In case you still launch projects with Magento 1, you can easily swap to Magento 2 in the course of the update period.

The Magento Datatrans Payment Extension is easy to install and fits neatly into your shop as an additional payment module. Choose between processing via Lightbox (as an overlay in your shop), Iframe or redirection to the Datatrans Payment Page. The processing of the credit card data takes place according to the current PCI regulations.

The Datatrans payment module enables you to process invoices via PowerPay, Byjuno or Swissbilling. In addition, you have the option to choose whether the payment method should be disabled if the credit check result is negative. In order to do this, the respective options have to be activated with Datatrans as well as the host.

Give your customers access to numerous new payment possibilities. Besides the known credit cards (Visa, Master Card, etc.) you can also integrate debit cards (PostFinance, Maestro, etc.) or eWallets (PayPal, Moneybookers, etc.) and web-banking payment methods (PostFinance E-Finance, sofortüberweisung, ELV/giropay, iDeal, Mister Cash, and many more). A detailed list of the supported payment methods can be found further below.

Datatrans Payment Extension also supports capturing, cancellation and refund. This means that you can process payments directly from the administration interface of the shop and no longer have to log into Datatrans. This simplifies the payment processing a lot. Further information on the transaction manager can be found under payment processing (see below).

Due to the integration of the Alias Manager the customer's order process is greatly simplified. Once the credit card data has been entered it can be saved for later purchases. The storage occurs with Datatrans and is therefore fully PCI-compliant.

The Magento 1 Datatrans Payment Extension should work with all OneStepCheckouts for Magento. However, we explicitly tested it with the following Magento OnePageCheckout extensions:

The Magento 2 Datatrans Payment Extension is working with the default Magento 2 checkout. We explicitly tested it with the standard Magento 2 checkout only.

Other Magento 2 checkout extensions are maybe also compatible but not officially supported by us.

With the Magento Datatrans Payment Extension Datatrans payment module you are able to take mail and phone orders (MoTo) directly from the backend of your shop.

After having confirmed the order the customer is transferred to the Payment Page of the PSP where he then enters the payment data. Once the payment has been effected, the customer is redirected to the merchant page.

Difference to Dynamic Template: The customer clearly sees that he has left the merchants website.

Difference to Hidden Authorisation: The customer is transferred to the PSP to enter his payment data in comparison to entering it in the shop.

Alias Manager / Token System

The customer's credit card data is saved during the payment process in the PSPs database. The storage occurs with the PSP and is therefore fully PCI compliant. An alias is created for the credit card data which can then be retrieved during the next purchase. Through this, the customer does not have to enter his credit card data again.
